Bardney
Lincoln LN3 5TP

We are a club for primarily radio controlled model aircraft enthusiasts. We incorperate all disciplines of the hobby, fixed wing, control line, gliders, silent flight, free flight, helicopters, multi rotor, model building, flight instruction, British Model Flying Association Achievement Scheme A and B Certificate etc.

The club was set up in 1996 on the old WW2 RAF airfield at Bardney and has a strong membership of approx 70. The old control tower houses the Bardney Flyers Model Club. It has water and electricity and Loos both ladies and gents. Some old photographs inside the building recall the wartime days as an operational airfield.

The patch is a well mown grass strip 150 metres by 40 metres running SW - NE.

The club welcomes fellow model flies and new members. Anyone wishing to take up the sport of model flying and wishing to join the club will be assured of a warm welcome and a helping hand. Just contact any of the Committee for further info or pop along to the field.

The club has flight instructors and British Model Flying Association Examiners, A/B certs.
